Can anyone pls show me how to calculate the total number days by using VB 6.0.
e.g. How do u formulate "Date Return - Return Loan" to calculate the difference in number of days?

What do you mean by that? Do you mean subtracting the number of days? If ndmmxiaomayi's code is what you wanted, then the correct and more efficient version should be

Sorry, i wasn't following the forums lately as i'm very tied up with my project.
Well, it seem alittle more complicated than it is.

First of all, it involves different category of car e.g economy, standard, compact type etc, hence different rental rates on weekday, weekends and weekly basis.

The program will have to base on the category selected and provide with correct rental rates based with given schedule.

Mainly, i believe you need to use SQL to input this coding.
Feel free to input ur contribution and suggestion, keep them coming.

I try not to use SQL, as it is complicated.

How to set up
Make a form, put 3 option buttons on it (named Option1,2 and 3) and a button named Command1.
Recommended to edit the Option button captions to "Economy","Compact" and "Standard" respectively.

What this program do
Reads rental rates from a text file (rates.txt, in the same directory as the EXE file) in the order of Economy, Compact and Standard. Each category will have 1 value. Each value will be seperated with a new line.

What I assume
The rates are by daily basis, calculated by multiplying rate by day.
